I’m really looking forward to the candy table I’ve designed for my wedding reception this weekend at the Overland Park Sheraton! I’m really looking forward to our all yellow candy stand we are doing at the Hilton President for a wedding reception this Saturday. The candies are going to be absolutely delicious and look amazing! We’ve got rock candy sticks, lollipops with their monogram on them, SLO Pokes, Sour Balls, Gumballs, Butterfingers, Jelly Beans…and many more. It makes me hungry just thinking about it! The mixture of the white and yellow linens and yellow candies are sure to look stunning and all the guests are sure to enjoy the summer colors and yummy treats! I’ll post pictures!

We just did an amazing candy buffet at the Hobbs Building for an April wedding.  It was a very modern setup the wedding colors were grey, black, and white so we did an array of colors featuring a beautiful manzanita branch centerpiece with small white flowers. The bride selected the MOST delicious candies! I really enjoyed working with everyone at the Hobbs building they were all amazing and the space is so unique! Now I’m on to planning two large June wedding candy buffets can’t wait to get started one has an all yellow theme using favorites like lemonheads, yellow sour balls, banana taffy and many more, it will be awesome looking! Another is all white in color with a “diamonds” theme…just think of all the fun ideas you can do with this!

Just setup an awesome looking candy buffet for a Bat Mitzvah. The colors were pink, light blue, and brown with assorted candies.  Candy buffets are such a unique idea for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs…the tweens just love all the candy and it is the perfect way to thank all of their guests for coming.  It is just the perfect idea for these events, I LOVE IT . The Bat Mitzvah was being held at Cascadia Hall, I’d never been there before but it is a really nice place for this sort of event!

I’m so excited for my February events…the preparations and planning are in full swing and all the candy options double in February because of Valentines! I always love Valentines candies like chocolate roses, conversation hearts, truffles, etc…I’m really looking forward to my Valentines weekend wedding reception at Loose Mansion! We’ve got some very creative ideas planned for this dark red and black themed event (rich colored linen runner, feathers, lollipops, floating flowers…it’s going to be amazing! I’ll be sure to post pictures after!

Christmas is such an amazing time of year, and not to mention one of the best holidays for CANDY, sweet treats, and delicious meals!
